Mastercam Supports Mori Seiki Machines

Post Processor support for NT line of machines

CNC Software Inc., developer of Mastercam CAD/CAM software, in cooperation with Mori Seiki, is proud to announce a post processor for Mori Seiki’s new line of NT Multi-tasking machines. This new post processor is configurable to support all 54 configurations of Mori Seiki’s NT platform.

Multitasking (or Multitask machines) can minimize or eliminate multiple setups when machining complex parts. Turning and milling operations can be performed on the same machine, making a shop more efficient and profitable.

Utilization of the multiple tooling configurations available with multitask machines provides more machining options and flexibility. Intricate parts can be machined using one setup, eliminating the need for multiple machines, or to re-fixture the part for subsequent operations. The processes are completed sequentially, with minimal or no idle time.
