Famic Technologies developers worked closely with Mastercam to develop the Automation Studio™ to Mastercam Add-On which, once installed, expands the capabilities of Mastercam to import files created in Automation Studio™ and generates the code for the manifold blocks to machine in Mastercam.

This integration allows Mastercam customers to save significant time by simulating, troubleshooting, and changing designs in Automation Studio™ with the help of manufacturers’ catalogs.

The Automation Studio™ Manifold workshop is the easiest and fastest tool to create manifold blocks in a 3D environment. The list of all machining operations is available in real-time during the creation process. Their types are described according to industry standards and each parameter can be directly modified from the list, with the values being automatically updated on the 3D layout and in the technical drawings.
All these machining operations can be exported to the Automation Studio™ to Mastercam Add-on and are used to automatically populate the toolpath list in Mastercam.
